Went there with a bunch of friends we hadn’t seen in a while. The location is gorgeous really - with both Ille and Vilaine rivers joining. We didn’t take advantage of the show for the aforementioned reason.
We had a « Nordic » and « Cheese » plate; both were underwhelming. The Nordic plate wasn’t much more than a heap of smoked salmon and one piece of burrata; the cheese plate, which was supposed to offer season cheeses, was composed of only THREE pieces of cheese that were all but seasonal. I mean no offense but those cheeses were pasteurised-milk cheese you can buy at your local grocery store; not the kind of cheese I’d expect when paying 15€ a plate!
Last but not least, the waitresses were nice enough, but we’ve still been invited to move away because the customers attending the show were about to come back and « they’d need the space ». So we don’t ?
Amazing location and ambiance. Very quiet during the day, perfect to relax and enjoy the view, work there, read a book.
A bit pricey compared to the quality of the food/drinks, but still worth it for the view and mood.
